Ether is the debut title from indie start-up studio White Paper Games and is a first person science fiction ghost story that explores the depth of human memories through a tale of forbidden technology, mystery, hope, love and death.

Waking alone atop a coastal cliff on an isolated island you quickly come to realise that all is not what it seems. How did you come to be here? Who are you? You will ask questions that are not easy to face and only through the exploration of a desolate island will you find those answers. Through littered artefacts that hold deep and forgotten memories of a deceased woman, ripped and discarded journal pages written by the mysterious 'T' and long forgotten ancient runes that are to be found in every corner you will find the clues to piece together your own story to tell to others. It is only then, when the truth is revealed, when the darkness has subsided and light shows the path that you need to take will you know the truth about Ether, what it is, why you know its name but most importantly, why it matters to you.

Featuring a distinct art style, explorative game play, puzzle challenges and mysteries that extend into your life through the ability to collect and record certain pieces of information from within the game. Ether is set to tell a mature and fascinating story that will keep you immersed till the very last clue.
